2016-11-09Young Lemony Snicket stumbles upon a exciting adventure that takes place in the sleepy town of Stain'd by the sea. When a peculiar statue called the Bombinating Beast is stolen by a mysterious villain, it's up to Lemony Snicket to discover the true intention behind these series of mysteries. This book is a very interesting mystery book that takes place in a imaginary town. It is one of my personal favorite books, along with the Series of Unfortunate Events, which is another yet exciting book written by Lemony Snicket. The main character, Lemony Snicket, is a junior detective who works with his mentor, Theodora, who is a not-very talented detective. As the story goes on, Lemony discovers a person in the midst of all the schemes; Hangfire. Who is Hangfire? And what does he want to achieve? This book is overly fast paced and doesn't let the reader put the book down until the book is finished.
